West Virginia Academy continues to make headlines as a positive agent for change in West Virginia public education. Over the last couple of weeks the academy was featured in multiple news mediums throughout the Mountaineer State from podcasts and radio to print media. West Virginia Academy is a tuition-free public charter school focused on higher academic achievement and higher behavioral standards. The academy is open to all students in West Virginia, but primarily serves students in and around the Morgantown Metropolitan area from Monongalia, Preston, and Marion Counties.
